The concept for FD's4SME's is to provide the skill sets of an experienced Finance Director to the small and medium sized enterprise (SME) sector, allowing smaller organisations to benefit from the expertise of a highly experienced Financial Director without incurring the expense of hiring someone full-time
Our Services
Our involvement can be as little or as much as you desire. We can work as an Interim or Part Time Finance Director either directly for owner managers or on behalf of PE or corporate investors. We recognise that most of our clients will have their own finance teams and are conscious that different organisations may require a different level of involvement from our FD consultant. Therefore we offer services ranging from a "full hands on", Financial Director service where our FD might take total control of a finance function, to a more consultative "hands off" approach, offering mentoring, periodic guidance & review service, or anything in-between.
When you employ FD's4SME's services, our consultant will temporarily join your team to offer additional expertise on financial matters. Together, we will take a proactive approach to identify risks, evaluate options, and gain detailed insight into your company's finances to facilitate smarter business decisions. You can also count on your FD's4SME's consultant to 'have your back' in the financial realm so you and your existing teams can spend time on growth and improving value versus administration and overhead.
Services can be offered
- On an as-needed basis to handle specific projects or tasks, such as new system selection and/or implementation
- On a contractual basis to assist a new venture until it can afford a full-time FD/CFO
- On a provisional basis to temporarily fill a void created by the departure of a financial executive
- To create more effective financial/management reports (and to teach you how to use them)
